12 mm diameter metal logs, which I subsequently welded with a CO-bead welder. In a way, the chair is also something of an interesting experiment for me, but one that came about after the actual introduction of the chair. Not everybody gives it a chance to show that you can actually sit on it, and so the audience divides around it, forming different groups, where it is interesting to listen to them and to perceive their attitudes and expressions. The bent rod represents a tree branch and thus refers to the first chairs used by our ancestors.
